We have a response from the supplier:
“The soft mint has less menthol peppermint in it, so it is less strong. The ingredients are the same otherwise.
As the tablets are in tablet form and could create a choking hazard if taken in multiples and not chewed, we safeguard ourselves by saying not for under 4 years of age. If you would like to supervise the child whilst brushing their teeth then this would be ok for under 4 years. Also some may find them too minty. Preference really. The ingredients are safe.
The soft mint is the only alternative for younger children to date, please let us know what flavours your child would like to see in any new tooth tablets in the future? ”
