It’s creamy, smooth and delicious. Almond butter is a hero ingredient in this recipe – full of flavour and plant-based protein. Slather it over warm toast, drizzle it over brekkie bowls, mix it into a savoury dressing or add it into tasty treats like these bites. Can’t have nut butter? Reach for a seed butter like Sunflower or Tahini, for an equally delicious treat.

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients (except the chocolate) in a food processor and process until a rough crumb-like texture is reached.
  2. Chop the chocolate into medium chunks and combine with the ‘dough’ mixture.
  3. Use a press-and-roll motion to form the mixture into balls with your hands.
  4. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to set, and store in the fridge.
  5. Enjoy!
