To make this recipe  vegan-friendly, simply swap the greek yoghurt for a plant-based alternative and make sure your protein powder is free from whey.

For your wellness boost: Daily Good Organic Fiji Ginger Immunity Shots

Formulated with organic ingredients that are  New Zealand made, including ginger and turmeric sourced from Daily Good’s partner farm in Fiji, these wellness shots are a delicious option on your tastebuds and your health. 

With 7 shots per bottle, each shot can be diluted in hot or cold water, enjoyed as they are or added to smoothies like this recipe. For your everyday nutrition: spinach 

This highly nutritious plant does wonders for our body. Rich in protein, vitamins and minerals like  ironmagnesium and vitamin E, spinach is a great leafy green to include in your diet. Loved for its versatility, spinach tastes delicious in both savoury and sweet dishes – like our Green Smoothie Bowl with Oat Protein Crumb, yum.

Ingredients:

  1. 50ml of Daily Good Organic Fiji Ginger Immunity Shots
  2. 1 Tbsp LSA
  3. 1 scoop protein powder of choice 
  4. 1 tsp spirulina powder (optional - we recommend BioBalance Spirulina Powder
  5. Handful of frozen fruit – we used a tropical mix 
  6. Handful of spinach 
  7. 1/3 cup of greek yoghurt 
  8. 1/3 cup of almond milk – or your choice of milk

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend. 
  2. Add extra milk or water to get desired consistency. 
  3. Sprinkle the top of your smoothie with a little extra spirulina powder, coconut flakes or sesame seeds to decorate. 
  4. Enjoy!
