Plus, their mild flavour makes them the perfect base for both sweet and savoury dishes too.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Chantal Organics Organic Quick Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 Tablespoon Matakana Superfoods Matcha Organic Tea Powder (adjust for preference)
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup Chantal Organics Rice Syrup (more to taste)
- 1/4 cup BioBalance Certified Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-2 Tablespoons almond milk
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
Strawberry tahini swirl
- 3 Tablespoons Chantal Organics Hulled Tahini
- 2 Tablespoons Chantal Organics Rice Syrup
- 2 Tablespoons of freeze-dried strawberry powder
- 1 Tablespoon almond milk
- Freeze-dried strawberries to decorate (optional)
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 175°C and line a small 20cmx20cm baking pan with baking paper.
- Make oat flour by blending the oats in a high-speed blender or food processor into a fine flour-like consistency.
- In a bowl, whisk together the oat flour, almond flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg, rice malt syrup, melted coconut oil and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the egg mix into the flour mix and combine, mixing until a batter forms. If it's too thick, add 1 tablespoon of additional almond milk at a time until the desired consistency is reached (it should be a thick yet pourable batter).
- Pour ½ the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly top with chopped strawberries, then the remaining batter.
- For the strawberry tahini swirl: Combine the tahini, rice syrup, freeze-dried strawberry powder and almond milk, and mix into a paste. Dollop over the matcha brownie and swirl into the top of the brownie with the tip of a knife.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
- Allow the blondies to cool before cutting into squares and enjoy along with a delicious matcha latte!
