I’ve never met anybody that didn’t love chocolate and this recipe is sure to be a winner with chocolate lovers of all ages. This tasty sweet treat not only hits the spot with its rich, melt-in-your-mouth decadence, but packs in a few nutritional benefits too.
The key to making incredible chocolate is to use premium ingredients, so I have chosen to incorporate the Natava SuperFoods range. Natava SuperFoods is a New Zealand company that sources the best quality 100% organic ethically produced superfoods from around the globe. Natava SuperFoods Raw organic cacao powder is derived from pure Heirloom Ecuador Arriba Nacional Cacao Beans grown in high elevation volcanic soil. The cacao beans are sun-dried; therefore, the cacao remains 100% raw and is packed with iron, magnesium and antioxidants. Organic Heirloom Cacao Butter is made from the oil of the cacao bean and is cold pressed to retain all its nutritional benefits and a velvety smooth texture.
Not only is this Superfoods Chocolate Bark deliciously irresistible, it’s surprisingly easy to make, with just four ingredients in the creamy chocolate base and then for the fun part – let your imagination go wild with an assortment of toppings, or whatever you have in the panty. Nuts, seeds, dried fruit, coconut flakes, quinoa puffs... it’s up to you! I added goji berries as they are a great source of vitamin C, iron, minerals and antioxidants, plus add a tangy, chewy texture that pairs perfectly with crunchy cacao nibs and nuts.
