Q: Are the capsules refrigerated before delivery? Also, bearing in mind its short lifespan, does it include a date of manufacture or reasonable best before date?

A: Hi, thank you for your question. This product is stable below 30 degrees, so it is store below this temperature before delivery. It is not refrigerated as this can cause the oil to become cloudy. Using this stability test data a batch expiry date is shown on the bottle once you have received the product. Thank you from your HealthPost team.

Q: How much IU of Mixed tocopherols (vitamin E) is in one capsule, thanks.

A: Hi, thank you for your question. There is a non-therapeutic amount of tocopherols in Life’s Omega algae oil as it’s an excipient and does not reach a measurable amount of IU. These are mixed tocopherols (vitamin E), which are extracted from soybeans. Life’s Omega oil also contains rosemary extract, ascorbyl palmitate and sunflower oil.
