- QUESTIONS (1)
I bought this once (not from Healthpost) and where it was in the delivery van the parcel got VERY hot. The container says to avoid excessive heat, so should I not use those?
Hope you can help.

"Re: the enzymes being left in a hot van during delivery - It may depend on how long/how hot the temperature was. Hopefully this explanation below helps.
Enzymedica enzyme products are quite heat resistant in the dormant state they are packaged and encapsulated in. We once tested Digest Gold after being put in the trunk of a car and left for a week in the middle of summer here in Florida. And the test revealed full activity still. Enzymedica products are designed this way to survive the temperature ranges they will encounter when being shipped especially. So it’s best to keep them in room temperature in a dry environment, but they will survive some extremes for a while. Moisture actually will do more damage to the enzymes by activating them. Which is why we don’t recommend refrigerating them.
Re: taking systemic enzymes ( ie Serragold) with liquid, taking them with water is fine and advisable to be able to swallow them. If it is a liquid that requires digesting ( ie smoothie) then it is advised to take it away from this.
Digestive enzymes need to be taken with food so as to act on and digest the food. Systemic enzymes ( taken without food) circulate through the bloodstream to support and maintain healthy body functions with a focus on the cardiovascular, muscular and immune systems."
We hope this is helpful.
