<p>Monk Fruit is a natural sugar substitute from the Luo Han Guo plant (Siraitia grosvenorii). Like Stevia, Monk Fruit is around 250 times sweeter than sugar. The sweetness comes from a special compound called mogroside, which is extracted from the melon-like fruit. Another upside to Monk Fruit is that it’s carb free and has very little aftertaste.</p>
