Xylitol and Xylitol are heat stable Natural Sweeteners that are super easy to use. They have the look and taste of refined sugar (sucrose) but with far less carbohydrates. Technically they’re called polyols or sugar alcohols, but they don’t contain any ethanol.

Xylitol is made from natural birch bark and has the same sweetness level as table sugar. It has 75% less carbs than sugar and has a low GI of only 7. Sprinkle it on your cereal or substitute it for table sugar in your favourite baking or dessert recipes. Xylitol is also a prebiotic fibre.

Erythritol is very similar to Xylitol, but it’s around 70% less sweet than table sugar and has a whopping 95% less carbs. Our Erythritol is made naturally from non-GMO corn. It’s an excellent choice if you prefer less sweetness.

We also have Xylitol and Erythritol blended with Stevia and Monk Fruit in our Sweetener Blends.

Excess consumption may have a laxative effect in the same way as some fruits do. It’s also important to note that Xylitol is not suitable for dogs as they can’t metabolise it, just like chocolate and grapes
