Whether you're just starting out on your Herbal Tea journey or you’re already an experienced tea brewer, metal tea strainers are super convenient and handy to have on hand.

Made from heat-stable materials that are suitable for tea making and can withstand boiling water. Tea infusers also cut down on waste and make your used tea leaves so much easier to compost. There’s no need to release the leaves from the teabag and instead you can just pop the tea leaves straight into the compost bin. Check out our Eco Kitchen category for other sustainable and reusable kitchen products.

To keep your stainless tea infusers shiny and clean, it’s best to tip the tea leaves out immediately after brewing and wash them. If they do get stained over time, they can be cleaned by soaking in white vinegar or a cup of hot water to which a teaspoon of baking soda has been added.

For best results, you’ll want to infuse your tea for between 5-20 minutes, depending on your flavour and temperature preference. Make sure you store your loose-leaf herbal teas in an airtight container away from heat and light to keep them as fresh as possible.
