Solgar Astaxanthin 5mg is premium Hawaiian grown for optimal quality. Astaxanthin is a unique algae that has shown to have broad-spectrum antioxidant benefits, protecting both water–and- fat-soluble parts of the cell, enabling it to be active throughout the body.  It is 550 times stronger than Vitamin E and 6000 times more potent than Vitamin C.  

Astaxanthin has undergone much research and been found to support eye health, the cardiovascular system, prostate health and has anti-aging properties.  It has a finitely with the skin helping maintain moisture, elasticity, reduce fine lines and has a protective role aganist  UV damaging rays.
