Q: Hi, just wondering if NAC and MSM can both be taken together? Thanks
HealthPost team

A: Hi Jenna, Thanks for your question! NAC and MSM aren't known to interact with each other, but they are both precursors to glutathione. In which case, it might be more suitable to go for one or the other so it's gentler on the body. Your Healthpost Team.

Q: Re being gluten free or not, there is an additional ingredients list which appears to not include ingredients that contain gluten. Could Healpost check this please? It's a good product I have purchased before. I haven't had issues with it and take extra care to be gluten free. I was concerned after reading your response to the other question which appears ti indicate it contains gluten.

Q: What is the difference between NAC N acetyl cysteine and NAC L acetyl cysteine
HealthPost team
25/05/23
A: Thank you for your question - the terms refer to the same compound. NAC is the abbreviated term for N-acetyl cysteine and N-acetyl L-cysteine. When NAC is ingested, it is converted to L-cysteine, which could explain why that is sometimes included in the supplement's name. L-cysteine can then become the antioxidant glutathione. Thank you from your HealthPost team.
