Tulsi is related to culinary basil and is part of the Lamiaceae or mint family. Tulsi tea is high in antioxidants that are naturally found in the leaf.

We have three types of Tulsi tea, including:

Rama Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum)
From a green Tulsi plant with light purple flowers, Rama Tulsi tea has an aromatic, clove like scent and a mellow flavour.

Vana Tulsi (Ocimum gratissimum)
From a bright, light green Tulsi plant that grows wild and is indigenous to many areas of Asia, Vana Tulsi tea has a slightly lemony aroma and flavour.

Krishna Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum)
From a purple Tulsi plant, Krishna Tulsi tea has a clove-like aroma and a peppery flavour

Tulsi tea is delicious on its own or, if you have a sweet tooth, try it sweetened with Honey or Stevia Sweetener. The full-bodied, herbal flavour of Tulsi tea is especially suited to bring out the natural flavours of other herbs, you’ll find Tulsi in many herbal tea blends to suit any preference.

As Tulsi tea is naturally caffeine free, it is ideal for any time of the day. Tulsi tea has a beautiful fragrance – enhance your ‘me-time’ ritual with its fresh and earthy aroma.
