A: Hello Alex
Thank you for getting in touch with this query.
Please find below Wotnot's comprehensive response :
Our zinc is non-nano and has been independently tested by the CSIRO using laser particle diffraction. The zinc oxide used in Wotnot sunscreen is micron sized i.e. >1000nm (nanometers). Nano particles are defined as particles in a size ranging from 1-100nm. Wotnot zinc particles are 10-1000 times bigger than a nanoparticle and so are not expected to cross the barrier of the epidermis. The zinc oxide we use is specifically made for Wotnot.

"This product is not water resistant.
Some of Wotnot natural sunscreen contain beeswax which is naturally water repellant, but not water resistant.
We recommend water resistant sunscreen while in the water."
